JAMES THOMAS GREEN
Director of Yacht Management
UK-born and raised sailing and diving on the south coast and abroad, James brings hands-on expertise and operational leadership to Swisspath Yachting’s Yacht Management division.
After starting his career at 19 – following an offshore sailing race from China to the UK – he worked his way up to captain both private and charter yachts from 50ft to 150ft, sailing across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, North America and Norway, including multiple ocean crossings. Now based in Mallorca, James supports owners and crews in both English and Spanish – ensuring every vessel under his care runs with precision, foresight, and attention to detail.
KAREN MARTENSEN
Director of Charter
With over two decades of experience in the yachting industry, Karen combines strategic vision with deep operational insight – and an instinctive understanding of what clients truly value. Throughout her career, she has worked with some of the industry’s most established players, building trusted relationships with yacht owners, brokers, and partners worldwide. Karen is known for her calm precision, her long-term thinking, and her ability to build loyalty that lasts – many of her clients have followed her from one chapter to the next.Originally from Germany, but having lived her life through the rhythm of the yachting world, she now leads Swisspath Yachting’s Charter division from Palma de Mallorca – where she shapes every detail with care, connection, and authority.
She is fluent in German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Head of Marketing
With a background in business psychology and luxury product branding, Julia bridges strategic clarity with an intuitive sense for high-end positioning.
She led the rebranding of Swisspath Yachting and now shapes the company’s brand presence across all touchpoints – crafting a distinct identity that places Swisspath confidently among the bespoke names in luxury yachting. Having worked across international markets and fluent in German and English, with additional proficiency in Spanish and Russian, she is dedicated to creating brand experiences that resonate globally.

Senior Charter Consultant
Well-known in the industry for her longstanding partnerships and deep charter expertise, Niki brings insight, instinct, and a client-first mindset to every project.
With extensive experience in charter retail, she supports owners with tailored strategies to maximise their yacht’s charter potential German by origin, Ibicenca at heart – Niki has long been based in Ibiza, where her local perspective and global network come together seamlessly, supported by fluency in German, English and Spanish. Her multicultural background and approachable style make her a trusted partner for clients from around the world – throughout every step of the charter process.
SANJA STRAUMANN
Accounting & Administration
Sanja honed her financial expertise over 17 years at a leading Swiss bank, working across various divisions. She combines financial precision with a calm, solution-oriented mindset. Today, she oversees Swisspath Yachting’s Accounting and Administration with care, structure, and a sharp eye for detail – ensuring nothing is ever overlooked.
Having spent several years working remotely while travelling across different time zones and cultures, Sanja has developed an exceptional sense for focus, adaptability and organisation – no matter the environment. These qualities make her a true multitasker and a steady hand behind the scenes. Fluent in German and English, with additional skills in Croatian and Spanish, she brings cultural fluency and quiet confidence to every task – earning the trust of both our team and our clients alike.
HARRY ROBINSON
Technical & Yacht Operation
As a former Captain and First Officer on yachts of 50m and beyond, Harry provides hands-on operational support – ensuring every yacht runs smoothly, safely, and with seamless performance.
England-born and ocean-bound, he has navigated vessels up to 44m – from motor to sailing yachts, including a research vessel for scientific expeditions. These experiences shaped his expertise in complex operations and in leading high-performing crews under demanding conditions.
Now based in Palma de Mallorca, Harry supports our Yacht Management division on-site. His practical mindset and technical precision make him a trusted operational guardian of every vessel under his care.
