Head of Charter
Dutch-born and now based in the UK, Jeroen has spent more than a decade arranging charters across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and beyond, on everything from relaxed family charters to some of the largest yachts in the worldwide fleet. He joins Swisspath | TAG Yachting as Head of Charter, with a rare mix of brokerage instinct and commercial know-how.
After studying International Business in the Netherlands, with an exchange at business school in Paris, Jeroen found his way into yachting through an internship in London. He joined the superyacht industry in 2015 as a marketing intern and spent the next ten years working his way up through charter brokerage and a series of operational and commercial roles including Head of Operations and later Head of Charter Retail, where he led and grew a retail charter team.
Swisspath | TAG Yachting have brought him on board to develop the charter business.
Jeroen knows charter from every angle: contracts, finance, systems and the detail of how a booking actually comes together. With clients, his approach is simple. He responds quickly, takes the time to understand the brief properly and is honest when something isn’t right. Rather than sending a long list of whatever happens to be available, he focuses on what really matters to each guest, whether that’s the crew, the layout, wellness, watersports or privacy. He spends a lot of time inspecting yachts and talking to captains, crews and central agents, and many of his clients have worked with him for years, across multiple yachts and destinations.
